Betten Maskinstasjon

Founded in 1954, Betten Maskinstasjon AS specializes in automatic feeders for both smolt installations on land and fish farm installations at sea, and has manufactured over 9,400 feeders. The company also manufactures and supplies transport equipment for filling its feeders.

Failsafe Feeding
Betten's automatic feeding systems consist of a feeder in each fish cage, allowing fish in all cages to feed simultaneously. Feeding intervals can be set easily, and this simple, reliable system is failsafe because even if one feeder stops working, the others will continue uninterrupted.

Fish Feeding Systems
The S1 automatic feeder for land-based smolt installations provides excellent coverage of the entire tank surface. Easy and safe to operate, the Si can be adapted to most installations.

The T1A automatic feeder for marine installations can be mounted directly onto the jetties of steel cage systems or onto a Betten raft of seawater-resistant aluminium which is specially designed for plastic sea pens. The sturdy, reliable T1A can withstand the harshest weather conditions, and dispenses feed at up to 360 kg/h. It can be delivered with a 24 V DC battery.

The TL2 automatic feeder for marine installations can also be mounted directly onto jetties or onto a Betten raft for plastic sea pens. The TL2 offers very gentle
feed handling, spreading feed with a low-pressure fan and dispensing feed at up to 1,125 kg/h.
